Cast and fabricated bronze

These tables were developed in collaboration with Mr. Charles Jones of Boston Mass. as a limited production run. The cast bronze allows for an articulation of form that would be very difficult to achieve in wood. The bronze also allows through various surface treatments and patinas allows for a wide range of color options. And the quality of the casting allows for fine textural details that contrast with the polished edges.

The main detail of this design was the form created on the back plane where the curved legs connect, pushing into the form and deforming the outside surface. By doing this we were able to make evident the tension inherent in the structure.
