Bubininga, satin wood, and glass The idea behind this table was to create an inner volume for the
display of objects while still having a functional table surface.
The piece is on casters for ease of movement. As a chest the top
section hinges open for easy access to the inside. Various items
can be placed inside, flower arrangements for a special event,
exotic butterflies, shells collected from around the world, what
ever, the point is to be creative with its use. The point is that
when a group is seated around this table is when these objects
will be noticed; it gives a quality of surprise, and interest to
the setting.
